I have been working on calculating neutron scattering structure factors and other bulk magnetic properties for small finite spin clusters.

We have worked on spin 1/2, 1, and 3/2 systems and are extending our calculations to more complex interactions and a large number of spins.

Analysis of small spin clusters allows us to get exact analytical solutions for these systems. These solutions give us the means to examine patterns and trends for larger clusters as well as understand the interesting properties of these clusters.

I am working with

Dr. Ted Barnes

He has been doing extensive work in the field of high energy nuclear physics and has extended his expertise to condense matter physics.
